My dining room gets the best light in the house, so the plants had been hanging out on stools and boxes but I wanted something more elegant. I landed on solid walnut floating shelves, and I couldn’t be happier. Turning rough sawn walnut into pristine smooth shelving is so satisfying. Also I now have space for plants and books and treasures for days! Note: I didn’t make this table as my current shop was being set up at the time I moved in, but if you want a solid round walnut table then by God I’ll make you a solid round walnut table.
